Dr. Joyce Heideman, DVM:
Dr. joyce is a 1986 graduate from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She worked as an Associate at Southside Animal Hospital for 5 years when it was Benson Animal Hospital. Dr. Joyce purchased Benson Animal Hospital and renamed it Southside Animal Hospital in 1991.
Dr. Joyce is a proud member of AVMA, MVMA and Mid Michigan Boxer Rescue. She is very active in animal rescue and currently has 6 dogs, 1 cat and 2 turtles to keep her busy. |

Dr. Patricia McKane, DVM:
Dr. McKane is a 1986 graduate of Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. |

Teresa Marhofer:
Teresa completed her Veterinary Technician training in Boise, Idaho in 1985 and worked for Dr. Benson as a Veterinary Assistant and Groomer until 1991. Teresa became the clinic Office Manager when Southside Animal Hospital was established.
If you know Teresa, you know that she is the "glue" that holds the clinic together. She also has a 16 year old son and is very active in PTA. |
